Very nice to see an idea that @lukasheinrich.com, Malin Horstmann, and I had of Bayesian implementations of HistFactory with #pyhf (inspirehep.net/literature/2...) back in early 2023 reach a more mature state (and still use pyhf). Impressive work from Andrew, as always!
The #pyhf Binder example had been broken for sometime (local repo2docker worked, but the built image wouldn't startup on the Binder Federation pods). Thanks to @2i2c.org's contribution and infrastructure updates it is working great again! mybinder.org/v2/gh/scikit...
Always a joyful and proud day to learn that experimental collaborations I've never even heard of are using #pyhf to do their science. :) arxiv.org/abs/2501.12409 Great to see, RES-NOVA team, and nice work!

This was the first #pyhf tutorial run using @prefix.dev's pixi, and from what I hear it worked great for everyone*! Yay for being able to go from zero to learning about Pythonic statistical analysis in HEP in Jupyter notebooks in a few seconds with `pixi run start`! github.com/pyhf/pyhf-tu...
spreading the #pyhf love all the way to Hawai'i - love to see it
picture of giordon in dark grey t-shirt, short blue pants, and socks in front of a projector showing the pyhf tutorial webpage with his handing touching the pyhf logo in the center. giordon is looking back at the not-visible audience on the right hand side of the image.
giordon is standing by a chair with the audience in full view on the right hand side in two rows of tables. everyone including giordon is looking at the projector screen showing the pyhf tutorial website.
finished another #pyhf tutorial - this time at UH Manoa (University of Hawai'i).
Pretty pleased to announce that @ATLASexperiment has an analysis that now cites @pyhf_ 😀. #pyhf has been used in a stat combination! https://arxiv.org/abs/2106.01676 . The onshell WZ, offshell WZ, and compressed analyses are combined in the Higgsino plane in Figure 16d.

Just your daily reminder that #accessiblescience is not so hard to achieve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrH9s3eB6fU
For example, this video with @HEPfeickert describing some of our open source work is captioned! #pyhf

Gratuitous pictures of the new GPU computer for ML-related research @UCSC_SCIPP . It works nicely with #pyhf already !

What does 8 hours of staring at multi-dimensional code to fix a bug look like? THIS: https://github.com/scikit-hep/pyhf/pull/766
Sometimes a HEPEx postdoc actually does physics. Sometimes we just fix things so that we can eventually do physics. Guess which one today is.. 👀

Hrmm, @HEPfeickert and I got into a strange dilemma with GitHub actions tonight for #pyhf. @webKnjaZ (we summon you, beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice). Anyways, the tl;dr is: "how do you ensure that a tag is only on master?"
