As I often do I wore #quasplay of #Voltron yesterday: 1 of several hoodies w/the arms the right colors & the hood itself either black, purple or yellow w/a black Voltron cap. However, I don't have blue & yellow pants to match.
Later I saw a pair of girls, 1 in jeans & the other yellow pants. [1/2]
I call that #quasplay. (Disney Adults, which I very nearly became myself before I found salvation in drugs & sex, call it "bounding." Maybe they're the kinky ones.)
It was only once I left work at 11:30 pm that I realized that the largely tan & brown ensemble I'd thrown together yesterday morning worked out to a #quasplay of Eren & their order from #AttackOnTitan. (Sorry I don't know the name: I only read the 1st digest & wasn't particularly impressed. 🤷♂️)
I got a late start: only now on the bus to the train to Javits, which nearly plowed into a van w/o traffic etiquette. I am not cosplaying as I hoped, but I *am* #quasplay ing, what others call #bounding: not a costume but an outfit w/the colors & motifs roughly correct. n.b.: the Green Paladin. #VLD
