Okay #WritingCommunity I'm trying to get a grip on this whole "submitting a manuscript" thing, and I just came across a form that asks for both a synopsis and a 1 paragraph pitch.

What is the difference?

Another question (when you have a chance): You said "Avoid giving them chance to reject you" which I get. Do you have a recommended phrasing for setting a deadline?
Something like: "This is a multiple submission query, please reply within two weeks."?

Thank you! This has helped me loosen up the writing of the letter a little and to let myself tell the story of the book while still including all the information you've recommended. It's coming in around 1100 words, though.
