No way, they really made a prequel of the reboot! It's the original drawing made on paper with nothing but pencils and micro pigment ink pens! Gotta say, I'm a big fan of the series.

And the paper original!

I didn't like some symbols so I changed them.

Oh no! They're rebooting the series! Now the weathering is so bright it covers the black on the paint, making the drawing look like it has glass on top of it!

The second was a bit better. weathering is a little different, it looks more like the drawing's dried out after getting wet, but the colors pop more.

Damn, the third movie was pretty nice. The dirt effect was cleaned off and the colors seem to even out a little while retaining the weathering.

I tried out a different effect for the weathering texture, I like experiments after all. Which one looks better?

Also does this kind of remind you of Monster High?

Part one. A pink and aqua green girl dressed with long striped fingerless gloves n stockings, braces, a spiked collar, basically a stereotypical emo girl. She's surrounded with a random assortment of ink-drawn symbols, the artist is probably illiterate about the deeper lore of the emo subculture.

Part two. Ditto but with slightly less weathering.

Make it a trilogy. Ditto again, but with a bit less weathering than before and a little cleaner so that the colors seem brighter.

I found out I like y2k/emo fashion, so I drew yours truly but she's an emo goth after eight girl that kinda looks like a zombie.
