We demonstrate that it is possible to resolve accurate #rRNA_operon #ASVs directly from #PacBio HiFi reads using a simple Usearch/Vsearch pipeline. No need for unique molecular markers (UMIs) anymore, which greatly simplifies the process and makes it more robust.
