spotty, on the best of days. they can remember names and faces well enough, but events or even their own past is when they start to struggle. over the years they've learned to accept it, but knowing that they're actively missing a part of themselves eats away at their soul.

a blade crafted from the heart of mt. gulg with remnants of their previous blade, attuned to their aether in an effort to realize their full potential, it's had their back through every trial since it's creation.

there's plenty of reasons for moss to enjoy the rain and storms. a convenient mask for their actions. gentle background noise to accompany them when they're alone. the feeling of the rain hitting your face after a lengthy dry period spent in ul'dah

the only mistakes they truly learn from are ones that put them in the dirt. they have the privilege (and curse) of being able to 'practice' dying, to understand how they failed to block a lethal blow and come back to ensure it never happens again.

moss loathes being outside of their armor in public. it's a shell, literal and metaphorical, that they retreat into when they feel the want to. even their mask, which they've only recently gotten mildly comfortable without, they keep around because they need the privacy it brings.
