This #randomgame Saturday, I bring you Yakuza Kiwami 2, a controversial sequel that--fuck that, Yakuza Kiwami 2 fucking owns and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. It's a gem, the likes of which fall from the sky in threes, and it deserves nothing less than standing on a golden pillar to catch it.
Fire Fight (1996), developed by Epic MegaGames and Chaos Works, distributed by Electronic Arts. This Multiplayer Gaming Kit box includes two identical game CDs, visible through the box as part of the explosions in the cover art.
Almost forgetting to do a #randomgame Saturday again - here is Epic MegaGames' Fire Fight, a neat top-down perspective aerial action shooter for Windows 95. Their distributor, Electronic Arts, sold it in these two-disc Multiplayer Gaming Kits in this slightly unusual box design.
Hoyle Card Games from Sierra (2004) and Hoyle Card Games from Encore (2008), two editions of what is basically the same game. They are both disc only games in slim plastic cases.
Oops. I was reaching towards my CD rack for #randomgame Saturday and accidentally grabbed two of them. Thank goodness they're both the same game - Hoyle Card Games and Hoyle Card Games. They're late editions of the long running series, sadly long past the era of including Sierra characters in them.
