I'm surprised more people didn't show up to #vote in a manner that expressed their dissatisfaction with #ProjetMontreal.

There was some talk about changing the electoral system in Canada some years ago.
There was talk of #proportaionalrepresentation , but there was also talk of #rankedballot .
PM Justin Trudeau wanted to push forward ranked ballot, while the opposition parties preferred PR.
Nothing happened.
And if we all push for electoral reform, we can totally do away with strategic voting. ALL the parties use ranked ballots to elect their leaders, but Ford banned #rankedballot voting. He knows he needs FPTP to win.

I'm not a Liberal or member of any political party, however, In 2021 PM Justin Trudeau said #rankedballot is his preference because it makes for less-divisive elections and I now agree with him. ⤵️

Me too. I am in B.C. and started out supporting #proportionalrepresentation but ended up rejecting it. #ProRep AKA #PR is a voting system I will never support. The #rankedballot was not an option in our B.C. referendum and it's the only one I would even consider saying yes to.
