Among his many interests was something that once brought us together: a love for old analog cameras and analog photography. I would often plan to stop by his place on Ordynka Street for just fifteen minutes, but by the time I left, I’d realize I’d spent two hours there. It was incredibly hard to leave his kind and welcoming world, filled with people, cats, dogs, parrots, and all sorts of other creatures. I was fortunate in 2017 to take these photos, which capture the atmosphere of his home and studio. May the memory of this kind and extraordinary man live on.
