We have been astounded every morning to see how fast our Amaryllis bulb is growing! We have been developing estimating and measuring skills to work out how tall it has grown. #reallifemaths

One student doubled the price of the 4 pack, thus finding the cost for 8 rolls. The 9th roll would have cost more than 58p, this must be the best value cheaper, because the cost of 8 rolls was less than £4 (ie less than 50p ea) more difficult to explain, but great #reallifemaths

I was teaching yr 11 about bearings and scale drawing this afternoon when the thunderstorm arrived.
Perfect timing! We got up the live lightning map and worked out the bearing and distance we were from last strike!
