I recently read that Red Kites were apparently sacred during medieval times as they would help clean waste from towns, reducing the spread of disease. This makes sense as they are somewhat scavengers.

Although generally scavengers, this Red Kite appeared to making the most of the foliage colours on the ground and blending in nicely to catch prey in a local field.
