I'm onto stage 2 of the plague doctor costume. The mask is complete and now I'm starting on the overcoat. This is a major departure from my normal work. The cutting out and pinning of the panels took 6 hours.

A new commission for the Royal College of Physicians museum in Edinburgh. A plague mask. All the panels are cut - fine linen liner, canvas interfacing and coarse unbleached linen outer pieces. Now an estimated 24 feet of stitching next...
