Today marks one year since we said goodbye to our Mila for the last time. She was 18.5 years old. She was the most beautiful and smartest cat in the universe and since she left, nothing has been the way it should be. She was tabby and white, long-haired, and had the most beautiful green eyes. In the picture, she is resting in her favorite red bed.

She was adopted from an animal protection organization that saved her, sick and neglected, from the streets and a likely death in pain.
If Mila were still with us, we would be celebrating her 19th birthday today. In honor of the one and only, we are declaring 1 April to be National Mortadella Day!
