In a way I'm a bit sad that this month is almost over.

I'm happy with #RememberingWinger and how it brought together so many artists who contributed to it (if you're running late to the tribute, don't worry! You can still post later!), but the fans reminiscing about meeting him was the best part. ❤️

Doug Winger more or less got me into Hyper porn and Furry porn so for me his loss is the hardest. I actually got a pic done in his style. It was drawn by Dawmino and colored by a friend. Funny thing is I e-mailed Doug once to get his permission for an idea and he approved it.

Saw the #RememberingWinger and whilst I'm not an artist myself, I remember seeing his art and it had a big impact on me as a young furry all those years ago.

I hope this is an acceptable tribute in the spirit of hyper furs.

#rememberingwinger Doug was one of the most influential artists who inspired me the most when making art and my love for hyper furry herms, I will miss him dearly. Although not his character, heres a commission i drew trying to replicate his style 2 years ago (for RedShirt on Discord)

So #RememberingWinger. Not much for NSFW stuff these days, not because it's offensive but I'm just tired of so much focus on sex stuff. There was a time I was a big fan. Thing I liked though was he was always so witty about it. Word play and comedy about the absurdity. Here is a pic he did for me.

So while we are all #RememberingWinger, I'd like to say something about him...

He wasn't an artist. Not at first. He was an engineer. He worked on some legendary aircraft, most notably the Space Shuttle.

But in his 40s, after one too many buyouts, he just stopped. And he started drawing.

My piece for #RememberingWinger. Was always a fan of this character, though whether she's a redesigned Tikka or a new character entirely still confuses me. Doug's work was some of the first furry smut I ever saw, and had a pretty big impact on my art. Safe to say, I wouldn't be here without him.

Ten years ago we lost Doug Winger, OG hyper artist and True American Hero (I am sincere) whose life ranged from working on the A-10 Warthog to Dora the Explorer. But he is most known for drawing furry women with ridiculously large penises.

Here's my entry for #RememberingWinger of Winger's gal Pup.

Two of Doug Winger's more famous characters, Pandora and Pup. They are both Anthropomorphic Dog Girls with big breasts and fat cocks. Pandora has more vibrant fur as well as a spot over her left eye; while Pup has more muted fur, darker hair, and wears glasses.

So the Doug Winger Memorial Day is in less than a week (about 5 days at the time of posting), and I'm honestly torn on who to draw for #RememberingWinger. Minerva Mink is an easy catch-all because it's what he was famous for, Pup is my favorite of his OCs, but Pandora is probably easier to draw.
