I was fine tonight until I read the @UFT email, then remembered how many of my school's staff were out Friday. The anxiety right now is unreal. 3.6k teachers & 3k aides needing subs across @NYCschools. What the hell else has to give before we #RestoreRemote? #RemoteOptionNow...

My students are brilliant, I'm moving us into a new classroom w/ windows, more space, & a working smartboard Mon, AND I will continue to fight for safer @NYCSchools conditions, COVID testing & a #remoteoptionnow for students/fams who need it & to alleviate overcrowded classrooms.

Update: we've got a declining roster of students; because of that my principal may be able to move my class to a classroom with windows. We'll see! 🤞🏻
