Between the Signs I have seen twisted people create inverted ideology Influence without responsibility addicted to filth and burning spite guzzling tea in the firelight I have heard forgetful assassins recite sharp fairness speeches to stiched up suspects with unrepentant serial predators bemoaning sexual injustice I have perceived creepy key log spies puffed up with unfounded pride misshapen cell hack stalkers claiming boundary privacy I have watched psyche sadists minding stolen business crocodile weeping over cruelty Seeking to take by decption affection they don't deserve and spread their empty misery I have noted false friends ransoming freedom forcing victims in financial razor wire to demean their person and betray their heart as partner fee for awful society I have observed great powers like kingdoms Overflowing with weapons and flash wonder help-less how to stop genocide That's financed by their cash I have seen nations stagger and crash under the weight of too lightly taxed rich debate which poor aid to ditch whilst each elite hoards enough gold to solve world crisis alone I see too much and when I squint with my mind's eye There is a place of endless possibilty where we lived too briefly to fully grieve I don't know why you won't go so I cannot stay and I cannot leave Taeleon © 2025
