The dark and drab Dwarven Mines led me to the equally dark and drab Drow Underworld, where I was greeted by this purple hulking monstrosity that looked like a bear with the head of an antlion. Took a load of punishment, too.
Ilivarra, dark elf priestess. About two minutes of fire arrows and hack-and-slash and I defeated her. She dropped a horn that apparently will be important for unlocking the next stage of the game.

Brogan, held in a prison cell in the Drow Underworld, tells the player about a gate to the Marsh of Chelimber. There's a lot of nefariousstuff happening in the world of Baldur's Gate, with many evil forces working together to cause trouble. Have to find and ice cave and use the horn we took from Ilivarra to open that gate!
Briefly came back to Dark Alliance after a month away. Trudged my way through the Dwarven Mines to reach the Drow Underworld and defeat Ilivarra, a dark elf priestess. Then freed Brogan, who mentions a gate that will take me to the Marsh of Chelimber. Guess that's next! #retro #retorgaming #gaming
