An anthro snake looms over an anthro deer aggressively. The deer is sitting while dressed in light armor decorated with antler insignias. He is looking up and away from the camera with an expression of surprise, gripping the table between them with one hand as the other is limp by his side.
The snake is leaned over the table to let the deer get a good look at his glowing yellow eyes and fanned hood, which is filled with hypnotic concentric circles. The deer’s eyes reflect the yellow glow. The snake is smiling devilishly while talking, and has one hand on the table to support his lean. He is wearing a cloak and a tunic, and has a big tail on the floor behind him.
Between the two, on the table, are two rolled 20-sided die, and a few papers. They are playing Dungeons and Dragons, and the deer just attempted to roll a willpower roll to break free of the snake’s hypnosis in-game, since he’s been taking advantage of him in game by repeatedly hypnotizing him. The roll has succeeded, but the snake has decided to replicate the game in real life to convince him that he actually failed.
The snake is saying:
“No line between what you're told and what you are.
Just as suggestible and obedient as your character.
When you wake, you'll look at that die and see a 1, not a 20.
Which means you lose the willpower save, and get hypnotized by me, again.
Losing to me, as you always do.”
