That said, the return of #fares I suppose, is a necessary evil. 98% of the countries' #busservices charge. $2 seems high vs prefree. We are a big city, and have cheap fuel. I like and brag about the no fare system (was pre-covid plan but we got used to using covid funds) also seems odd that so many millions are required to take $$$. I haven't noticed a huge issue with problem riders due to free. But I do notice a problem with no bus service #kcata #ridekc #kcmo

And, oh yeah that they're hiring, when, notoriously, #KCATA is laying off workers and cutting routes, despite the city #KCMO, at last minute, line-iteming the public transport service with 10s of millions of dollars.📉

Mission, the first city I have done that has an official transit center from RideKC. I like the legibility of this map, but I had to add some new elements to enforce which buses stop where.
