Riichi Mahjong. When I win 2 league matches back to back, the game all skill in knowing the right yaku to go for, shape creation & wise defensive play. When I declare Riichi on draw 4, then 3 draws later discard into a DOUBLE Ron against a Hanuman & Magan, the game is all Luck. #Riichi #mahjong

Last night’s Riichi meetup taught me I need to play a bit more defensive. “Know when to hold ‘em know when to fold ‘em” applies to Mahjong too. Especially when the player to your right calls riichi.
