The mighty Keith Giffen, creator of Rocket Raccoon &The new Blue Beetle, writer on Justice League& writer/artist on LSH, has gone on to the upper room in the only way he can tell us. I’m proud that I got to work on at least one project with him: The Midnighter. Job well done, Keith. #ripkeithgiffen

Keith Giffen's cover for DC Comics' post-Crisis rebooted Justice League No. 1 (1987), with the members looking up at the viewer and Green Lantern Guy Gardener sneering "Wanna make somethin' of it?" This quickly became one of the most reused and parodied covers of the 1980s and 1990s, with Giffen himself drawing several variations for other comics.
RIP Keith Giffen, who routinely broke the Rules of Good Layouts and as a result drew some of DC's best-selling comics and most iconic covers. Once drew a page with iirc 27 panels on it, the absolute madman. #RIPKeithGiffen

#RIPKeithGiffen. Along with co-creating the characters of Lobo, Catherine Cobert & one of the Queen Bees featured in other DC Comics media, he also wrote for #TheRealGhostbusters & did storyboards for #SpiderManUnlimited, #BatmanBeyond & #StaticShock.

RIP writer/artist Keith Giffen, co creator of many great comic characters, including one of my favorites, Rocket Raccoon. It was honor to have him as guest several times at my cons.
I’ll always remember the time he had me in tears telling me about his run in with turkeys at a farm. #ripkeithgiffen
