Green leafy trees surround a rushing creek that flows through, and over rocky and stone covered terrain.

The Aqueduct, at Edwin Akers Park in Weldon, NC, was built in the early 1800s to span Chockoyette Creek, and is one of the best preserved examples of early 19th century canal architecture.
