Or is it different in Abalathia’s Spine?"

Jeweled Carp puts her hands on her hips as she speaks. Tiphane Matigniant and Clifton Barlow can be seen walking behind. Jeweled says, "Depends on the person, actually. Our culture is that of independence. We are a proud people that hate people telling us what we have to be, so many of us choose our own names, if we so desire."

Jeweled raises her finger as she speaks. Next to her is an image of the Warden of the Seven Hues, a legendary fish caught in the Prism Lake of Yanxia. She says, "I kept the name my Ma gave me, though. Her family hails from Othard way back, and as a child she frequently regaled me with stories of a magnificient water kami with scales that shimmered of a rainbow in the waters of Othard."

Jeweled crosses her arms in frustration as her companions all laugh. She says, "I liked it a lot as a child, but now I’m not so sure I enjoy being compared to a giant fish. Too much of a hassle to change it now though with my adventurer’s rep and all, so I’m stuck with it."
