Bright red poppies in the foreground add color to an otherwise all green and grey stone scene. The stones in view are a quite a tall wall beside a sunken road, and fragments of walls and stairs behind it. Random greenery tops the fragments of walls, and the spaces between them.

Orangy-red poppies surround a broken corner edge and wall of an old stone fortress. The wall facing forwrd is mostly intact, except for a large missing section just at the corner, which shows how wide the wall actually is. The stones are random-sized, but stacked to make a fairly even surface; on top, large, flat stones keep the whoe thing compressed. On top of that is a substantial layer of soil and plants growing. The corner is made of huge solid blocks, stacked alternately for strength, The wall around the corner is clearly crumbling apart.
