A new favourite rumbleslam model completed! I tried to push skin tone further here than I normally would and I think it came out great. Also getting more practice in with basic NMM gold was very handy!

Last night my wife and I played #Rumbleslam for the first time. Because of sleeping problems with the kid, we only got to play one round of five. Then the rules and options were a bit too much for that late of the night. But it was fun and she would try again. 😄 #Nerdlings

Further work on the Heavy Pounders for Rumbleslam, now there's just a few fiddly bits to go like boots and teeth and eyes. Really enjoyed working on these guys, though the struggle with the skin was real!

What a difference an hour of work makes. Did a wash of thinned Vallejo flesh tone, cut into the recesses with the midtones, glazed a fair few times.
The new picture is completely under artificial light and suffering for it, but in person the difference is huge.

Today I learned why you should wash resin minis before priming. Luckily it was just as I was trying to do a zenithal. My Rumbleslam ogre came apart. But in doing so, it revealed a cool look (kinda Sin City or Mad World vibes). #happyLittleAccidents #Rumbleslam #MiniaturePainting
Skin continues to be haaaaard! 😭
But overall, I'm happy with where I've gotten to. Some weird chunkiness in the recesses that came from the wash, but so it goes, I've moved on with the pants and shirts.
