I’ve always planned my hikes around what I could handle. The dog would “be fine”. And he was. He hiked 275 miles on #rushthelongtrail. We added Wolfy girl to the pack, and she zooms circles around us. No problem.
The yellow dots on this map are our tracking points from this weekend—the dogs, Auntie and I took a serious bite out of the Massachusetts AT miles this weekend!

Wylie and I turned off the AT here after completing #rushthelongtrail, our thru-hike of the Long Trail. At the time, that was a definitive ‘end’ of something, but it turned out to be a beginning.
