Introduction Imagine worlds folded into the dark recesses of ours. Full realities that mirror ours in shadow, though they have their own history, their own legends, Their own cultures Their own prejudices, their own creations Their own physics. These worlds, the Five Folds, exist in spaces only where monsters tread, The Fae, the Yokai, Dark Eldritch Beings, the Undead, and Subterran Creatures. These were all legends, myths to our reasoning...until we decided to tap into them, to use their worlds as a resource until our hubris lead to rips between us, and the pocket realms that are the Five Folds. That is how our apocalypse began. That is how and when our greed took over. We exploited the Folds as a resource, as a battery. Draining what we thought as cheap and accessible energy, all it cost was our souls it would seem. We exploited the working class to process this energy, though it was an extremely dangerous job, the Corporations refused to give the workers their fair pay; Humans as always the most disposable of resource.
