Panel 1: A deflated Kazuma still holds Ryunosuke by the shoulders and says, "You honestly didn't realize?" Ryunosuke is still blushing and four hearts float around his head. He sheepishly says, "No." Panel 2: Kazuma has released Ryunosuke and stepped back. His gaze is averted, one hand pressed against his forehead, partially covering his flushed face. He says, "Okay, that’s on me for not being clear enough with my intentions."
Panel 1: Kazuma has one hand raised to his head, previously covering his face. He says, "And if I’m reading this wrong, let me know. You don’t have to return my feelings. But I just wanted you to…Ryuunosuke?" He glances down in confusion at where Ryunosuke has seized the front of his uniform jacket. Panel 2: Ryunosuke seizes Kazuma by the jacket and pulls him into a kiss. Kazuma is frozen, hands hovering awkwardly in the air. Part of his face is visible, showing his deep blush and wide eye. The ends of his hachimaki are heart-shaped while a giant heart floats off to his right.
Panel 1: Ryunosuke has stepped back with a smile, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand. He says, "Sorry if that was too forward. I was just really happy to hear how you felt." Kazuma is still frozen, staring flushed and wide-eyed at Ryuu. Two hearts float around him, and the ends of his hachimaki headband have started to make a heart shape. Panel 2: A close-up of Kazuma’s love-struck face. The sparkles in his bright eyes are heart-shaped and four hearts now float around his head. The ends of his headband also make a heart shape. From off-panel, Ryunosuke says, "Uh...Kazuma?"
