I'm sharing this post on my new feed, Scientific Animism #safeed because it is great advise about likely social changes on the near horizon and the need to change our thinking about our relationships with everything around us — very much in keeping with the core of SA.

While I applaud the fact that any leading lab is taking the (currently unlikely) advent of AI self-awareness to heart, I hate to see the notion voiced, even cautiously, by the likes of Roose, who has become a reckless anti-safety e/acc mouthpiece. But, oh well. Life is messy. #safeed
