Wild boar head sticking up in ferns

I went birding and stumbled on this black back of a wild boar in the ferns (2nd photo). She didn't notice me and I didn't want to come between her and the piglets so I whistled. She looked at me before taking off with six piglets in pyjamas 💚
It's quite unusual to get so close

Three very different types of forest in two days & a spaniel.
I was super chuffed to see a Capercaillie taking off less than 50m from me and sailing through the trees in the 1st forest
