Our #Satono today was waved off by a whole team of folks from Koriyama Station, all in very festive springtime happi coats.
One of the things I find most fascinating about Joyful Trains is the range of folks on board, from roving packs of grannies to young couples and various flavours of rail fans.
A pair of large white pleather box seats across a small table. There are orange, blue and green accents and a blue privacy wall, with massive windows.

Inside the #Satono, the big upgrade is these lovely, squashy big box seats in the new Green Car.
Together with the massive windows, you get the most glorious views up the Gohyaku River valley and across the Aizu basin.
