Woodland Wilderness with Maureen Shelleau, First Nations, Michipicoten Tuesday, April 29th 11am-1pm Free, Open to the Public Maureen will introduce you to the Woodland Art Style of painting including bright colors, thick black outlines, and use of lines to represent relationships and power. Create your own story and symbolism within this style with your own instructor's references provided. The class will discuss the historical and cultural significance of the art form, drawing inspiration from Native Artists, including Norval Morriseau (artwork shown).
