It would appear that many, if not all, of the firings affecting NIOSH are being reversed. These happened back in APRIL and JUNE, gutting our personnel.
No other communication- just a short email (without CDC or HHS signatures) stating RIF recission.

The House and Senate reject the HHS plan to eliminate NIOSH. Here are the proposals:
President's budget: $73 million
Senate budget: $364 million
House budget: $313 million
Flat budget would be $363 million. The House version is a $50 million (14%) budget cut.

We also need to stop RFK Jr from eliminating NIOSH, the government agency that tracks worker injuries and illnesses. He has already sent reduction-in-force notices to 92% of NIOSH employees. #SaveNIOSH
This is a no-brainer. People deserve respiratory protection at work — from medical facilities to mines, nurses and fire fighters.

NIOSH remains largely unfunded in the disastrous budget bill, despite "restoration" of a fraction of its staff. Those same staff will completely lack funding next year under the current plan, and workers will pay the price. #SaveNIOSH.
Unfortunately, no such wins for NIOSH, the only funder of workplace safety research.

Rep. Landsman asked RFK to restore NIOSH since much was cut in error.
His response? "If Congress funds it... this time around."

Oh btw- our subject matter experts on this topic were tossed out. Regulations preventing employers from forcing you to work in dangerous conditions are at risk of becoming non-existent.
