Probably my favorite #SBLAAR23 ever, simply because I had so many lovely conversations with lovely people. (Even if I ended up with COVID afterwards.) Next year, I’d like to meet even more of you!
I had a wonderful time in San Antonio on my #SBLTrip but I am desperately ready to be home! Next year in San Diego! #AARSBL23 #SBLAAR23

Gosh, I love playing “spot the #sblaar23 passenger”! Two young men in Grad Student Casual: yup. Older gentleman in khakis and tweed jacket with elbow patches: too easy. Woman with… wait, I know her!
#SBLTrip continues. Made it through security super fast so now I’m sitting at my gate with almost 2 hours until boarding… #aarsbl23 #sblaar23
The FOMO is kicking in. I hope everyone has a great time at #SBLAAR23, but I also wish I were with you all!
To those going to #sblaar23 this year who have permanent jobs: How about we make it a point to each of us buy one meal for a student/independent/non-TT/adjunct scholar? There will be folks there who are skipping meals because they could barely afford the plane ticket and hotel.
