It almost slipped under the radar, but Solvaj Balle's new book was released this past Tuesday. Because I hadn't purchased a book in nearly three months & coincidentally I'd just finished #Schattenfroh I thought I would treat myself.

It took me 7-plus weeks, but last night I finally finished #Schattenfroh.
Not much to say. It remained mostly confounding, religion & philosophy not being my strengths. The last third of the book was quite good, with a more straight-forward accounting of Nobody's father's death.

I start the month of November at page 706 of #Schattenfroh. Still slow, steady progress - emphasis on "slow". Hoping to be done by the middle of the month, which would be about seven weeks.
Gonna be a while before I read a book of this size again.
