#CottrellScholar 2012 & #Scialog AUT Facilitator Sarah Reisman has been awarded Caltech’s Richard P. Feynman Prize for Excellence in Teaching. Reisman, whose research focuses on the chemical synthesis of organic molecules produced in nature, also received RCSA’s Cottrell FRED Award in 2019.

2021 #Scialog: Signatures of Life in the Universe awardees Greg Fournier, MIT, and Stilianos Louca, University of Oregon, are co-authors of a new study in the journal Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology tracing some of the earliest evidence of aerobic respiration on Earth.
In 2025, RCSA and its funding partners awarded more than $9.5 million to early career scientists in the United States, Canada, and Chile through its #CottrellScholar Program, #Scialog, #RCSAFellows Initiative, and emergency RCSA Bridge Awards.
