#SciFanSat A freshly dug grave burped out a coffin. "No more," it yelled.
"It's your purpose," a clergyman replied. "The Earth receives our dead."
"Too many contaminants," Earth shot back. "Plastic &metal parts. Pharmaceutical toxins. Botox & batteries. Only unpolluted bodies are accepted now."
A week since my first wee publication of 2026: 100 words about a creepy whirlpool in the #SciFanSat 'Spiral' issue. Loads of good stuff in here. Give it a whirl! Take it for a spin! Go round and have a look! Etc.
We pass Smokestack Town, our mammoth watched by guards.
“They called us, Neanderthals,” my daughter says. “Why?”
“Because they fear Gaia’s gift of change.”

“They seek to resurrect their past in isolation.”

“Opener of the Ways”
My March #SciFanSat cover art for our SPIRAL themed issue coming out this Saturday. I decided to go with mysterious, semi-surreal, cosmic horror. It fits my mood as our world spins out of control.
This Saturday, my sf story, ‘Deus Ex Scriptura’, will be published in the free online magazine, @scifansat.bsky.social (it’s easily googled). It’s a really well put together magazine and even if you don’t like my story, there are plenty of others from some incredible writers. ☺️
