I can see that! At that size, face-to-face outreach is better. Live-tweeting really needs a critical mass of 300-plus attendees. If you search for ancient hashtags still on Twitter like #SciWri18 #AGU11 #SciO10 or evergreen ones like #AAASmeetings, you can get a sense of this in action.
