I spotted three dead birds, either ducks or geese on the riverbank this week. I am far from an expert but I’m guessing that the cause is the bird flu that has been prevalent as of late. I’ve been walking down here several times a week for some years and this is the first time I’ve seen any dead birds laying in the open. The one I photographed was just a couple feet from the path, the other two was on the shore, that is shown on the first photo.
