Large smooth rock painted with Haere Mai in red, orange, and yellow lettering. Painted around the words is a albatross, cockatiel, griffin, penguin, sunflower, two cats, a purple heart, and a dragonfly. All elements special to my soul.

Visible mending of a tear in the seat of a pair of tan coloured pants. The pants look well-loved; the belt loops have a bit of a dull shine from years of wear. The mending pattern is geometric - a field of crosses in an offset grid pattern - and made with all 6 strands of lighter tan embroidery floss. Off-white fabric with a newspaper-looking print in rust peeks through the gap in the fabric.
Mending a well-worn pair of pants for a younger person in the house. The lighter fabric with an interesting print that you see peeking through is part of the gift (a selection of scraps to add to my collection) from 2025 mid-winter #SecretSantaAoNZ. Just perfect. Thanks crafty Santa! 🪡 🎅

Everything is tuberculosis by John Green. The bookmark sitting on top is made of wood & shells and made in New Zealand by gwood.co.nz It has a picture of a little blue penguin on it. The penguin is made of shells on a wooden bookmark. Very pretty.
