Closeup view of a hand holding a little square cookie made of seeds. Here's the recipe: Seed cake: The tl;dr: Gather whatever ready-to-eat seeds and nuts you have on hand and some ripe bananas. Mix all the seeds together and work in the banana until you can form it into a sheet pan. Bake in a low oven till it's done. This version was roughly: 1 c toasted sesame seeds 1/2 c chopped almonds 1/2 c chopped walnuts 1/2 c shredded coconut 1/2 c hemp hearts 1/4 c flax seed 1/4c sunflower seeds 1/3 c chopped dates 3 ripe bananas Splash of vanilla Dollop of honey Mash all ingredients together. Put parchment paper on a cookie sheet, and press the seed mixture onto the pan in a layer about 3/8" thick. Score into squares before baking. Bake in a 325 degree oven until edges brown. Use whatever you have on hand! Add peanut butter, or chocolate, or dried cranberries, candied orange peel, spice it up. Nom nom.
I baked a thing based on one of those dumb internet recipes, but switched it up and oh my, it be tasty. Recipe in the alt text if you want.
