A product ad for a solar-powered raccoon deterrent device. On the background is a wolf with photoshopped electric blue eyes - both an Animal Planet banner type close-up, and a wide shot of the canine leaping over a log. Its tongue is out to one side and it's cross-eyed. Moon-Moon?!
The text blares, in a red banner, all caps, "simulated wolf eye design"
The inset product photo shows a small black plastic device that resembles a geometric alien cat head, with red LEDs for eyes.

Title: Completely, and I mean completely, useless.

I don't understand all of the good reviews on this product... I bought these BECAUSE of the good reviews.
These palm sized continuously flashing lights do absolutely nothing. This morning I actually found the raccoon muddy paw prints on one of the devices... possibly he wanted to take it to his den and pretend it's a little raccoon disco?
I'm so utterly disappointed that these are completely useless. I wish that I could ask the other reviewers WHY they put 5 stars???

Amazon thought I'd want them for my chicken coop, but I think @grimmycoyote.bsky.social & @tccoyote.bsky.social would laugh.
