It's another #seiche on western Lake Erie! Leanna Neshkoff snapped this from South Shore Veterans Park in Oregon, with strong SW winds helping to lower water levels a good 4 feet since Sunday afternoon. Watch for levels to return to normal as that wind becomes northwesterly tonight.

Monday's #seiche event exposed a piece of Toledo history: "Dynamite Dock"! Nitroglycerin (used mainly for shooting oil wells) would be rowed across the mouth of the Maumee River from here in Point Place in the late 1800s, as it wasn't allowed to be carted through the city.
