Atm depending on my mood and what I have power of concentration for I'm reading Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood, Hold Still by Sally Mann, The Humble Lover by Edmund White and Unexpected Blessings by Barbara Taylor Bradford. It's the first Atwood I have read - it's grim but good #ShareYourReads

What are you reading at the moment? #ShareYourReads
#ShareYourReads Currently on vacation in hawaii and these are the books I brought! Already finished (re)reading A Game of Thrones, so I'm taking my time leisurely making my way through the other two (much shorter) books so I don't run out before the trip ends.
I'm always reading several things at once. One of the books I've just started is Colin Dickey's Ghostland, which has been on the TBR pile for a while and I'm only now getting to it.
Excellent so far.

I just finished The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and I'm now reading Terry Pratchett's Unseen Academicals. Both wonderful books in very different ways.

This is a great idea. Hope to pick up some suggestions to add to my tsundoku
Niwaki: Fantastic book by Jake Hobson about the way Japanese gardeners shape and maintain their shrubs and small trees. It's not just a picture book, it goes into an the fascinating stuff behind the aesthetics and philosophical history of the art, and it's really well written.
Project Hail Mary, by Andy Weir, on my very very very old Kindle! You've probably seen the trailers, but I fancied reading the book and it's a romp. It's a Weir, so if you aren't into the science bits you can thumb through them.
The Vorrh by B. Catling: I'm not far into this yet, but all I've read of it so far and and all I've heard of it makes me think this is what you'd get if you bred Conrad's Heart of Darkness with VanderMeer's Annihilation.
Francis Spufford's Nonesuch: the London Blitz. Plus magic. HELL YES.
Hey, what are you, a functioning adult, reading at the moment (that isn't Harry Potter)?
I feel we should share - with good descriptions in the alts - so people who are trapped in a twee cult can branch tf out, you know?
So come on, #ShareYourReads
