I’m loving these warm spring mornings! I almost wanna move my wheel outside so I can enjoy this weather. Hopefully all the windows down will fix the itch.

A couple satin matte white sponge holders on two different clay bodies - Standard 225 & Scott’s Red. I find it interesting that the clay body doesn’t have that much of an effect on the white glaze.
Glaze used - Amacos Satin White

This image shows a hand holding a small ceramic cup stacked on top of a ceramic sponge holder. The ceramics have a rich glaze featuring deep blues, earthy browns, and hints of a golden hue, giving them a striking, rustic appearance. The sponge holder has cut-out sections for drainage and airflow, while the cup has a slightly irregular, handmade shape. The background consists of blurred greenery and autumn foliage, suggesting an outdoor setting. The person’s forearm is visible, featuring a colorful tattoo of what appears to be a ceramic cup or vessel, adding a personal and artistic touch to the scene.
A couple sponge holders with a glaze combo I will never get tired of using.

The cups have a unique design with a raw, unglazed lower half showcasing a warm, earthy clay color. The upper half of each cup is glazed in a deep, rich purple hue with subtle variations in tone. A textured, hand-carved pattern resembling overlapping scales or leaves separates the glazed and unglazed sections. Each cup also features a small, stamped mushroom design near the bottom. The setting appears to be outdoors, with soft, natural lighting enhancing the organic feel of the pottery.

This glaze combo is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Clay body doesn’t see to mess with it too much either, which is super nice.

We got more snow on the East coast! Taking a moment this morning to watch the birds and get my glaze on.

I tried this glaze combo back in August & it did not disappoint. So I wanted to try it again on a recycled clay body and it came out just as nice as before. I will be adding this glaze to the “Use more often” list haha

It’s #mugshotmonday ! Two mugs with a very similar glaze. One is Amacos Deep Fire Brick over Cirrus Flow & the other is Flux Blossom over Smokey Merlot. I love how the glaze breaks over the texture.
