Numerous attempts at a redesign for Gakuro from Nue's Exorcist in an effort to make hims less lame and shitty. In many of them his discolored hair is actually a more disfiguring scar/birth mark. His shirt is unkempt and not tucked in and he uses his tie as a weapon by pooling spirit energy into it. In one drawing on the top half of his face is enveloped by a demonic spirit in an attempt at a kind of 'super form'.

For context this image was made as we were running a multi-person bet on when Ginka and Gluna would be cancelled and whoever got the closest was rewarded either 5 dollars or a special drawing/fanart(with EFFORT!) from the losers. Lalo, Spork and I were the first to be eliminated with Cerebro following soon after. Ultimately the winner of this bet was @xtremersadiq.bsky.social.
A continuation of the last image with @xtremersadiq.bsky.social as well as @thievinimp.bsky.social looking eagerly at the awaited demise of Cerebro at the hands of the Gink Reaper.
Watched the Axe Files about Ginka and Gluna and was reminded of the chokehold it had on me and some of friends back when it was being serialized. Not perfect but the memories are fond. And it's was a lot more interesting than the axe bait they got running now.
