By 11a, I’d fed/checked on two groups of animals, helped a friend with a difficult lamb delivery, washed all my shearing blades (about 80) to send them for sharpening and decided to go ahead and shear my Gotland ewe Isabelle. And the day isn’t over! #sheepfriends

Getting ready for the rain system this weekend meant stuffing the rain shelters at the remote site with hay. Though I think the weather isn’t going to be quite as bad as originally predicted, I feel better knowing that they don’t have to go out and graze if they don’t want to.
