Final panel: Ann and Topher are drawn even more crudely, for comedic effect. Topher is visibly upset by what Ann has said. She does not seem to care. Tophers speech bubble: "WHY would I kill them?" Anns speech bubble: "to eat it and establish dominance, keep up with me, topher, sheesh. You then become the apex predator and are safe from attack. And in time, you pass on your genes and succeed."
