Black and white Infrared photo of a palm tree at Seymour Square. The sky is jet black, leaves are white/grey (depending on whether they are in sunlight or shadow), and the tree trunk is a darker grey. Taken around 11am-ish.

Tried the variable IR filter on the Sony Mavica MVC-FD83 this morning after bible study. Took a little processing to bring out the leaves and remove some of the digital noise from the sky, but the bones of the photo promised quite a striking shot. #ShittyCameraChallenge #Floppydisksquad

I noticed that during the #ShittyCameraChallenge trying to shoot 2 box cameras

No brand name. Just a 4K CCD Digital Camera 64MP Digital Flash Video Camera with Screen 16X6832. Half-an-iPhone-sized I think.

This functions like my Osmo Pocket 3: You can focus it via the touch screen viewer.

The mark of High Tech: it has an Infrared night vision lamp.

It's described as the size of a business card, measurements in centimeters. 8.8 cm wide, 6.3 cm tall, 1.3 cm thick. Does have an "earphone hole," and a 1/4" mount hole.

Something for #ShittyCameraChallenge: I've been looking at OPT100 Neo toy cameras on eBay, so the Bay of e served up this weird Amazon Sludge photothing that looks like a cut-down iPhone.

We Bought Black and White Film on Temu So You Don't Have To A risky experiment to test a series of black and white films from China revealed some disasters, and some hidden gems too.

So I know we're all about the love for Ilford today, but I just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that there's a brand of film on Temu called Poolar 400 and I'll be really disappointed if nobody tries it for the next #ShittyCameraChallenge!
