A chubby blue shocker lizard with mottled scales and amber eyes wearing a bicorn hat and a medal of honor displaying the heraldry of Breland. Easter egg: While Esma was away on witchy errands to Slug Keep, her familiar left at home had an escapade where he was swallowed by a horrid snake which was in turn picked up by a peryton that was slain in its flight southward near Zarash Bay by Prince Morfran Casimir ir'Wynarn on his royal yacht who had been unable to make port due to storms. With a convoluted series of mishaps following, the not-digested shocker lizard was adopted by the crew and drunkenly appointed as a member of the navy. As the storms progressed, Quentin- called Lord Tiberius by the crew, saved the rest of the crew from on onslaught of lightning mephits and their venerated air elemental... The shocker lizard was taken back to the palace where Her Majesty Queen Marala II granted the saurine hero a medal of honor and a royal decree sparing him and his bloodline safe from poaching. The Court's gleaner learned where the shocker lizard hailed from, and he was gifted a parcel of a quarter acre of land in the Marches along the Silverslime river south of Slug Keep and was promptly returned there by royal escort. Quentin was granted his rank in 545 YK and his progeny and descendants are still protected within their plot of land by royal declaration... should anybody ever find themselves poaching shocker lizards near Slug Keep they may face more than a hag's wrath- legal consequences. Easter egg within an easter egg: Quentin was from a brood of shocker lizards born in Drowned Jeanna's realm and saved by a young Esma.

Lord Tiberius Quentin ir'Vanderveen, Chief Captain Emeritus of Her Majety's Forecastle, was Esma's first familiar. He was a shocker lizard and through his own shenanigans became a landed noble of the province of Breland. (Alt 🥚)
